Ruben Kazantsev, an Armenian-Russian émigré living in California for over 30 years, created the iPhoneFF. He explained how the idea came about, “I normally go for a weekly cigar walk in Beverly Hills and typically I get inspired to work or create something new after each of these walks. One day, on the way back home, I looked at the building where a friend holds the Beverly Hills Film Festival, then looked at my iPhone.
